Having been lambasted by many since the airing of the latest episode of Chitchat with Beauties on the 9th, the entire production team have taken full responsibility for their error and quit the show upon request by KBS.

On the 9th November episode of Chitchat with Beauties, a female college student named Miss Lee from Hongik University was asked whether she dates short guys. She expressed, "First of all, I don't like guys who are short. In a society that places a premium on looks, guys who are short are losers. Guys should be at least 1.8m (5'11") tall."

Her unedited comments were lambasted by many in Korea after it was aired. Fierce criticisms came from all directions, with one guy even suing KBS for emotional hurt caused by this and asked for 10 million KRW in compensation. Miss Lee also became the No.1 target of the internet terror squad.

Even though Miss Lee later said that she was only following the script, the damage was irreversible. KBS has admitted to making a grave mistake and apologized for creating an uproar in Korea in the the past week for failure in policing its broadcasting material on the 12th in an official statement. Another apology followed on the 13th but the backlash continued. KBS thus decided that the whole production team will exit the show on the 14th.
